Well the boys at DM have done it again--read my mind. How else could they have known I was dying for a repaint of their 1948 Chrysler New Yorker convertible with the Highlander plaid trim option? When the first one came out I loved it but there were other models ahead of it on my want list, and sadly it was gone before I ever got that far down the list. This isn't the best news for folks who wanted to sell theirs for a huge profit (they've gone for as much as $350 to $400), and it's terrible news for the poor bastard who just bought one at that price, but for the rest of us it's cause for celebration! We were the first to annunce this model on May 14th in our Diecast Forum, and the word quickly spread. Still no information about color yet, but the word is that they'll be repeating that fabulous highlander plaid interior which made this model so desirable in the first place. Thank you Manny & Moe!
