Another gorgeous model from the Danbury Mint, and I just love the color, which is very close to the color of my 1:1 1972 T-Bird. This is the first 59 convertible, and it's a beauty. The top-down view reveals the remarkable interior fittings and details. For instance, in the close-up views, notice the simulated stitching on the seats and door armrests. This model is packed with precision details, and DM had the scripts sealed this time. The front grillwork shows vertical bars, less visible on the 1:1, and curiously enough on the prior iterations of this model: the white coupe and the bronze/cream LE coupe. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but it's really a shame since they had it right the first two times. All in all, a fantastic model, destined to be your new favorite. It's definitely mine ;-)
