The boys at Danbury have done it again, and their newest Preview Society offering is a charmer. From the Raymond Loewy studios, this car was a landmark in automotive design, and an American classic. Check out our new, larger format high-resolution photos, and see if you think you can live without this one. Once I had it in hand I was sold.

In yet another iteration of this popular 1950's Chrysler body style, we present for your approval the Danbury Mint 1958 New Yorker Convertible. It differs mainly from the 57 by having smaller taillight lenses, and a flatter, wider bumper and grill. I liked the style of the 57's better, but it's all about variety, and this one sure is pretty in Garnet Maroon with a black soft top and a beautiful simulated patterned brocade/leather interior. It's a standard issue at just $129 plus shipping, but you never know when they'll just disappear! LOL If I had room for all the variations I'd want this one too, that's for sure.
